Kalamazoo Institute of Arts Gala Event

Last night was such a fun change of pace for me. Instead of hitting the club or going to a bar, I decided to get dolled up and go to an art gala event sponsored by Western Michigan University's MODA and Young Black Male organizations. This event showcased college students art work and fashion pieces. Everybody was dressed in lovely gowns and cocktail formal attire. I had a great time networking, socializing, and stuffing my face with chocolate covered strawberries. 

I wore a black, front slit gown with silver sequin detailing. I styled my hair with loose curls and completed the look with Sam Edelman spiked heel, open toed pumps. I wore NYX Snow White lipstick and soft white nail polish.
